Where does the threshold between absence and presence lie in the conception of a project? How much can be revealed before the magic disappears, and how can the mix of fiction and reality retain enough mystery to feel alive?<\/span><\/p>\n

For NOCA Seeing Future #1, we are delighted to present the works of eleven emerging artists whose practices explore memory, apparition and attention, reality and fiction, affect, eeriness, and resilient materialities. Working across painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, sound and video, the presented works take on new life through their coexistence while preserving the autonomy of individual practices.<\/p>\n

Pulled together for the first time following an open call, the exhibition becomes a space of suspension, hovering between unexpected dynamics and familiar gestures, each shaping and taming one another. Through a diversity of artistic approaches and media, the curatorial framework creates a space of encounter where temporalities become permeable and moments of reflection give voice to potential futures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition does not conclude at its end but instead opens onto the Reading Square, a space of silent conversation between the curator and the participating artists. Conceived as an extension of the exhibition, it gathers the references, influences, and lines of thought that nourish each artistic practice. The Reading Square inside the NOCA exhibition space invites visitors into this fertile terrain, offering a glimpse into the conditions from which the works emerge and continue to sprout.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone is invited to sit, choose a text and read, allowing themselves to daydream and wander through the minds of the artists and curators.<\/span><\/p>\n
